REHABILITATION ENGINEERING / BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

Many people living with physical disabilities (tremors, spasms, lack of muscular strength) ont de la difficulté à to perform daily living tasks such as eating or drinking. This can be linked to various diagnosis such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy,  tel que la paralysie cérébrale, la dystrophie musculaire, spinal cord injuries, la Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and ageing.

The objective of this research is to design innovative assistive technologies based on new technologies and through close collaboration with researchers in rehabilitation and engineering, healthcare professionals and potential users, in order to help these people improving their autonomy and quality of life.
