Education
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Laval University, Quebec City, in 2003.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, McGill University, Montreal, in 2008. (thesis title: "Design of Multiaxial Accelerometers with Simplicial Architectures for Rigid-Body Pose-and-Twist Estimation")
Academic career
- Joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Laval University in September 2007; Associate professor since 2013.
- Teaches the undergraduate courses "Modélisation en ingénierie (GMC-3001)" (Modelling in engineering), "Statique des corps rigides (GMC-1001)" (Statics), and "Mécanique et ingénierie des matériaux (GIN-2120)" (Mechanics and materials engineering).
- Research activities are supported by NSERC, FRQNT and CFI.
Research Activities
- Design and fabrication of cable-driven parallel manipulators;
- Optimisation of robotic mechanical systems in general;
- Design and fabrication of human-machine interfaces similar to the Wii remote, and using arrays of accelerometers as inertial measurement unit.

- Member of IEEE and CCToMM.
- Editorial board member of the Transactions of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering.
